Graphing Using Slope Intercept Form
Graphing a linear equation in slope intercept form y=mx+b is the quickest and most efficient way of graphing a line. First, plot the y-intercept which is provided as “b”. Then, use the slope “m” (which tells you the ratio of the rise to the run to another point on the line) to plot an additional point on the line. Then connect the two points to get a graph of the linear equation.
